We're opening the cafe with the cutest engagement session y'all....say hello to Mackenzie & Brennan...they're getting married in August and I just know that their wedding will be lovely because their engagement session is just darling...and you have got to read "their engagement" story...it's so sweet...capturing all the details are the oh-so-sweet and talented, and a dynamic duo, Emily and Steven of Puente Photo...so happy to have them stop by the cafe today...let's check out all the details!!

From Emily and Steven......"How’s this for a sweet story? When Brennan and Mackenzie started dating, Brennan handmade her an adorable little green stool. Mackenzie LOVED it! But she also kindly added, “One stool is amazing! But, what will I do when I want you to sit next to me?!” Brennan promised to make her another stool someday.

Well, the time rolls around for Brennan to pop the question. He’s madly in love with this girl and wants to show it. So he takes her out on a lovely date, with a little surprise waiting at the end of the night. They pull the car over and Brennan tells Mackenzie to wait inside while he grabs a gift from the trunk. As he fiddles around inside the trunk, making a bit of noise, Mackenzie thinks, “Aw, he must be wrapping his present last minute.”

Well, this was no last minute gift. Brennan pulls out of the trunk another handmade stool to match the first one from years ago! But this one had a giant bow wrapped around, with a little poem telling Mackenzie to pull on the bow. When Mackenzie gets out of the car and opens her eyes, she flips! This was the sweetest gift! With a nudge from Brennan, she pulls on the bow, only to uncover and open a secret compartment hidden underneath the stool! Glitter falls out from the secret compartment, and Mackenzie goes wild. “Glitter!?!?! I love glitter!” She couldn’t get enough.

“Why don’t you check if there is anything else in that little compartment…” Brennan suggests.

And, what do you know? An engagement ring in hanging down from a little hook inside the hidden stool compartment! Talk about original!

Well, you know the rest. These adorable love birds are getting married in August!"
