We're opening the cafe with one of my favorite ladies and AMAZING floral designers, my girl Kat of Kat Flower. Kat's floral designs are truly GORGEOUS....they always put a smile on my face and I'm just so proud of Kat....she's such a beautiful lady inside and out and we have the best "girl chats" ever!!!
I'm sure you have seen her beautiful work on the pages of some of your favorite blog sites and yes, she's stopped by the cafe a few times as well....so today, it all about Miss Kat....I've never met Kat...we are sisters via phone and email....well, I'm doing my "happy dance" today because Kat is coming to RVA this week to help me with a wedding this weekend....yes, she's that kind of friend...the ones you hold close to yor heart...I'm so excited to finally meet Kat and we are going to have too much fun..of course in between all the work!!....let's check out a few of her "lovely children"....aka....lovely florals....we love you Kat...xoxo

Happy Monday Lovelies....hope you all had a wonderful weekend....we are opening the cafe with my floral buddy, Holly of Holly Heider Chapple Flowers and of The Full Bouquet.....I met Holly for the first time about four or five years ago...Holly came to visit me and we had such a great time chatting and doing our flower thing of course....Holly is an AMAZING floral designer and artist...she truly has a passion for her flowers and she ADORES her brides....Holly took a little time out of her very busy schedule to stop by the cafe and share a little of her world with us...let's see what a day in the life of Holly is like and did I mention that Holly and her husband Evan have seven children...they are both AMAZING!....Enjoy!!

Happy Friday Guys....let's start the weekend off with my latest DIY over at Project Wedding! It's all about one of the most popular wedding flowers, the Ranunculus. Ranunculus can totally stand on their own and one stem can easily hold many smaller buds. These buds are great to use in arrangements for added texture. One of my favorite things about ranunculus is that this gorgeous flower comes in so many beautiful colors. They are the perfect blooms to use in the bridal bouquet, the boutonniere and in the centerpieces.
The fun thing about this DIY arrangement is that you don’t have to have “floral designer skills” to make it work. This is one of the easiest DIYs ever! Capturing all the prettiness is my girl Tori of Marvelous Things Photography....we ADORE Tori, she's an AMAZING photographer!
